This page explains how Jaleesa bundles and subscriptions work, with information on how you can use them in ways to suit your family. At the bottom of this page you can find information about new innovations we are planning, and how you can get involved.

Before buying a bundle or monthly subscription we recommend contacting Stephanie on +961 76 817 019 to match with a babysitter or child carer that meets your family’s needs. We will take some information from you and search our database of qualified sitters. We can also set up interviews with sitters at a convenient time, so you can meet them and see how they get on with your children.

Babysitting bundles

Babysitting or child care bundles are packages containing six or twelve hours. By choosing a bundle, you save money on our standard hourly rate.

A bundle is a very flexible way to book your child care. Once you’ve matched with your Jaleesa babysitter, add the bundle of your choice to your shopping cart and check out using our secure payment gateway. Then simply contact Stephanie to request a booking with your child carer, whenever you need her (or him). Stephanie will check that your requested babysitter is available and will make the arrangements. If the babysitter you request isn’t free, we will help you find someone else who is equally well qualified, or find a time that works for everyone.

Your bundle is valid for up to six months from the date of purchase, giving you total flexibility to book trusted child care at a price that works for your family.

If you need to cancel within the 24 hour period, one hour will be deducted from your bundle.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions offer you a number of hours each week. They are designed for families who want a longer term arrangement with a child carer, to become part of their weekly routine.

Because a monthly subscription offers the babysitter a guaranteed income each month, our sitters agree to offer a slightly lower price to families. This makes our subscriptions the most economical child care option. The babysitter is paid by the month, instead of by the hour.
Once you’ve matched with your Jaleesa babysitter, add the subscription of your choice to your shopping cart and check out using our secure payment gateway.

Subscriptions work best if you book fixed hours each week, which Stephanie will arrange for you in coordination with your babysitter. You can still change the hours if you need to, subject to the sitter’s availability– but you can’t carry over hours from one month to the next. Your monthly package begins on your babysitter’s first day (not the day when you make the payment, which must be made in advance).
When you book your subscription we will send you information about what it includes. In many cases we can include replacement cover: if your sitter is unwell, we can send someone in her place and keep the germs far from your little ones. We also hope to pilot an insurance scheme soon.

If you cancel with 24 hours notice we will work with you and your sitter to reschedule her hours to a more suitable time. If you need to cancel within the 24 hour period, you’ll be charged as usual for the hours your sitter was scheduled to work.

What’s changing in the future?

We’re always looking for new ways to innovate and offer a better service for both our families, and our babysitters.

We hope to pilot monthly auto-renewal soon, so you don’t have to come back to the site and pay every month. Soon we should also have an insurance add-in that will give you and your babysitter protection and reassurance. We also have some other plans to make your experience on the website even more enjoyable, and to make it easier to coordinate your schedule with your babysitters.

Cancellation Policy

Jaleesa has a 24 hour cancellation policy for babysitters as well as clients. If you need to cancel your appointment with a Jaleesa babysitter, please do so within 24 hours so the babysitter can plan her schedule.

Bundle customers:

If you need to cancel within the 24 hour period, one hour will be deducted from your bundle.

Subscription customers:

If you cancel with 24 hours notice we will work with you and your sitter to reschedule her hours to a more suitable time. If you need to cancel within the 24 hour period, you’ll be charged as usual for the hours your sitter was scheduled to work.
